Our Mission

VISION

We envision a day when...

every pet born will be assured of a good and loving home for all of its natural life
all people, their homes and environments will be safe from the dangers and problems of unsupervised, untrained, or abandoned pets
cruelty toward animals and people in Oswego County will no longer exist.

MISSION

To support the establishment of sheltering facilities and operations to ensure comfort and assistance to all pets in need in Oswego County.
To advance responsible programs to reunite lost pets with their owners and to adopt companion animals into homes for life.
To encourage and strengthen the human/animal bond with programs and services that focus on the needs of both people and animals.
To create lasting and comprehensive change in human behavior toward animals by advocacy and education--about responsible pet ownership, including the spaying and neutering of pets, and about humane and respectful treatment of all animals.
